Vintage Danish Teak Extending Dining Table & Set of Four Upholstered Chairs
Restored vintage Danish Farstrup chairs with a double extendable Skovby table. This set is perfect for a smaller space when closed and can seat up to eight when both leaves have been added.
The chairs have been completely stripped back from the original foam and fabric and reupholstered with fire-safe foam and interlining. The main fabric is Linwood 100% Linen - Small Prints II - Big Top - LF2398C/010 Ludo. The green and off-white print is of a stylized coral, which was inspired by a small section of a traditional chintz from the 1800s, giving it an endearingly natural appearance.
The table top has been sanded back and oiled twice with Danish Teak oil. There are two separate extension leaves, the veneer on these is a slightly different shade to the main table top.
